At the time of graduation from his university he was given the coveted honour of the 'Valedictorian' which is awarded to the top student of the graduating class.

After gaining experience working with the South Koreans and always having a passion for automobiles, Mr. Asad Wahid embarked on setting up his own automobile company where he was successful in obtaining the sole distributorship rights for marketing and progressive manufacturing of Chery Automobiles. Chery automobile Co. is one of the fastest growing automobile companies in the world with joint collaborations with leading global automobile companies such as AVL of Austria, Pininfarnia of Italy, Mitsubishi of Japan and many more. In fact, my firm has become the pioneer in Pakistan for importing a small compact car with a German engine, with features and quality of luxury vehicles at a price that is affordable to the vast majority of Pakistanis. This company was sold along with all shares to another business group in Pakistan in the year 2011.

Mr. Asad Wahid is currently looking after various business interests in Pakistan, China and the United Kingdom. During the course of his decade plus business experience, he has had to honour of meeting and interacting with the top leaders of the world including with the President of Pakistan, the Prime Minister of Turkey, the Prime Minister of South Korea, with the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, the Prime Minister of Nepal and many other national and business leaders of several countries.

Mr. Asad Wahid is also the founder and president of www.saveurself.co.uk which is an information portal in 2008 with the aim of providing a one stop window to assist and protect spouses of Asian origin who are at a risk or suffer from domestic violence in the U.K. The portal provides insight, advice as well as emergency contact information to visitors who can remain anonymous. Since its launch, the initiative boasts over 700 communications with individuals who were referred to the appropriate services available. He has also received appreciation for this effort from the London Metropolitan Police.
